Leah Solivan founded TaskRabbit after leaving an eight-year software engineering career at IBM in June 2008. She scaled the company to forty-four US cities before its acquisition by IKEA in 2017. Today she is the general partner of Precedent VC, backing early-stage, category-defining consumer companies, and founder of Precedent Collective, which supports investors from underrepresented backgrounds. A proud Latina with Puerto Rican roots, she also hosts Breaking Precedent and is the author of a forthcoming book by the same name.
